Shriman Shrimati first aired in 1994 on Doordarshan and had Jatin Kanakia as Keshav, Rakesh Bedi as Dilruba, Reema Lagoo as Koki and Archana Puran Singh as Prema playing the lead roles.
Popular directer Rajan Waghdhare helmed it while it was produced by Gautam Adhikari and Markand Adhikari
Shriman Shrimati Phir Se will be directed by the same director, Rajan Waghdhare, who directed the older version of the show. The story of the show will remain unchanged and only some modifications will be done.
Shriman Shrimati is a sitcom focussing on the lives of two couples, who stay as neighbours. The men try to woo each other’s wives adding much fun.

Barkha Bisht married to actor Indraneil Sengupta in 2007. She hosted Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe on Sony
Suresh Menon is an Indian actor, cinematographer and film director. He is mainly notable for having directed and played the lead role in the Tamil film Pudhiya Mugam along with his wife actress Revathi.
