After dominating the infotainment genre on television for the longest time, Discovery Networks going to launch a new General Entertainment Channel(GEC) Discovery JEET from 12th Frebruary 2018. Discovery JEET will be available in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu languages.

Discovery has done its homework to well to come up with its own GEC channel to aggregate scale on TV is daily viewership.Everything on Jeet is being mounted as soap opera.

Discovery Communications India (DCIN) has signed Netflix as the exclusive global OTT platform partner for the content of Discovery JEET. The deal will ensure that Discovery JEET’s marquee content will be available to audiences in more than 190 countries world-wide.

On 12th February Discovery JEET going to start an brand new show "21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897" produced by Abhimanyu Singh’s Contiloe Pictures Pvt. Ltd.

Lead roles are : Mohit Raina : Mohit Raina is known for work in historical and mythological show but now he will look in this serial as soldier Havildar Ishar Singh.

Story :

It is a fiction show inspired by the real-life story of 21 brave soldiers of 36th Sikh regiment of the British Indian Army which defended an army outpost at Saragarhi in the North-West Frontier Province against an onslaught by over 10,000 Pashtun and Orakzai tribals in September 1897. Recently, the teaser of the show was also released and it looks quite intriguing. Check it out below.
