Sinha was born on 2nd June 1987 in Patna into a Bihari Kayastha family. Her father, Shatrughan Sinha and her mother Poonam Sinha are actors in Hindi Cinema. Her father is now a political member of Bharatiya Janata Party. She is the youngest of three children, her two elder brothers, Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha are twin. She did her schooling at Arya Vidya Mandir and later graduated in fashion designing from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University.
